Xavier Bolivar vs Juan Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Carlos Varas Gym, San Juan,  taking place on 20/03/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-San Juan Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavier Bolivar (8 - 3) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Juan Diaz(3 - 14 - 6) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Bolivar and Diaz weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lisandro Barillas, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Montemayor, Angel Zambrano and Ulises Monforte.  

Round 1: 

Bolivar connects with a cross.

He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Bolivar clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Diaz pushes his forearm into Bolivar's face.
