Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 11/03/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Liko Chiu (2 - 0) who hails from Dongguan, China and Lorenzo Soriano(3 - 5 - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  Chiu weighed in at 147 pounds, while Soriano weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Durie, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Duffy, Barry Forbes and Mel Culp.  

Round 1: 

Chiu closes the distance and hits home with a firm left hook.
