Jonathan Patterson vs David Steele

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 11/03/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jonathan Patterson (1 - 0) who hails from Ontario, USA and David Steele(1 - 0) from Perth, Australia.  Patterson weighed in at 237 pounds and 5 ounces, while Steele weighed in at 246 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mel Culp, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Duffy, Hugh Durie and Barry Forbes.  

Round 1: 

Patterson switches the action to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.
