Rodrigo Mallen vs Santiago Capetillo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Central promoted show at Rodrigo Hipolito Gym, San Lorenzo,  taking place on 29/03/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Paraguay Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rodrigo Mallen (20 - 2 - 2) who hails from Capiata, Paraguay and Santiago Capetillo(4(2) - 1) from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.  Both Mallen and Capetillo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Garces, and the three ringside judges are Vegas Corte, Orlando Vallejos and Juan Nabor.  

Round 1: 

Capetillo advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Capetillo steps inside and connects with a sharp right hook.  Capetillo holds on to his opponent.  Capetillo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Mallen switches the action to the outside.  Capetillo attempts to land a jab, but Mallen slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Capetillo is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mallen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Capetillo advances into close range.  Capetillo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mallen switches the action to the outside.  Capetillo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Capetillo advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Capetillo drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Mallen is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Capetillo lands a cross.
