Young-gwon Kang vs Chu-young Baik

Boxing Daily Report from the Baah Promotions promoted show at Yong-jae Kang Gym, Daegu,  taking place on 31/03/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-Daegu Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Young-gwon Kang (5 - 12 - 6) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Chu-young Baik(6 - 4 - 4) from Daegu, South Korea.  Both Kang and Baik weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hyun-jun Chon, and the three ringside judges are Sung-ryong Yoh, Sung-ryong Keng and Seung-gyu Soh.  

Round 1: 

Kang switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Kang lands a right hook.  
Baik attempts to land a right hook, but Kang blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Baik advances into close range.  Kang connects with a left hook.

Kang advances into close range.  Baik goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Kang to the neutral corner.  He threatens Baik with a point deduction if he keeps fouling.
