Miguel Cadiz vs Noel Salmond

Boxing Daily Report from the Simwala Promotions promoted show at Stephen Howitt Gym, Salem,  taking place on 02/04/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Miguel Cadiz (9 - 2) who hails from Portland, USA and Noel Salmond(11 - 2 - 2) from Salem, USA.  Both Cadiz and Salmond weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Mardock, and the three ringside judges are Ethan Mingus, Alec Romo and James Mardock.  

Round 1: 

Salmond is looking to close the distance.  Cadiz lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
