Sezni Belisle vs Olympe Tavares

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Stade de Diaraf, Dakar,  taking place on 19/04/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sezni Belisle (7(4) - 0) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Olympe Tavares(8 - 13 - 1) from Pikine, Senegal.  Both Belisle and Tavares weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Forrest Coly, and the three ringside judges are Yves Diedhiou, Channing Seigner and Brigham Maunier.  

Round 1: 

Belisle feints a left hook, and then lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Belisle snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Tavares closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Belisle clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Belisle pushes his forearm into Tavares's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Belisle.

Tavares forces Belisle to retreat onto the ropes.  Belisle is on target with a firm cross.  
Tavares is looking to close the distance.  Belisle connects with a solid right hook.  
Belisle lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Belisle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tavares behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.

Belisle switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tavares advances into close range.  Belisle digs in a left hook to Tavares's body.  
Tavares gets on the inside and walks Belisle onto the ropes.  Belisle lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Belisle is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.

Belisle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Belisle's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Tavares pivots to the left of his opponent.  Tavares lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Tavares throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Belisle lands with a ramrod jab.  
Belisle lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Tavares advances into close range and walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Belisle lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  As Tavares tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Belisle dabs at his face checking for damage.

Belisle lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Tavares advances into close range.  Some sustained pressure from Belisle could be enough to finish Tavares!  Belisle lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND SENDS TAVARES TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  However, the ref is not convinced Tavares is fit to continue. He waves off the fight!  The winner by TKO is Belisle!
