Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo,  taking place on 24/03/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Kei Tomita (6(3) - 0) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Carlos Cortez(9 - 13 - 2) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Tomita weighed in at 115 pounds, while Cortez weighed in at 114 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Mihara, and the three ringside judges are Hisao Yamane, Takeo Kibe and Nori Saito.  

Round 1:

Cortez advances into close range.  Tomita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cortez throws a left hook, but Tomita ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Tomita pushes his forearm into Cortez's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
