Byron Pinault vs Phillippe Moreau

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Dakar Diaw, Dakar,  taking place on 18/04/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Byron Pinault (14(8) - 0) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Phillippe Moreau(3 - 3 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Pinault and Moreau weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montrell Noury, and the three ringside judges are Landry de la Bretonne, Josce Vanier and Leggett Kasse.  

Round 1: 

Pinault lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Pinault ties up his opponent.  Pinault is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pinault steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Pinault walks Moreau into the blue corner.  Moreau throws a left hook, but Pinault holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pinault pushes his forearm into Moreau's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pinault.  
Pinault lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pinault closes the distance and digs in a stinging left hook to Moreau's body.  Pinault clinches his opponent.  Pinault leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Pinault pushes his forearm into Moreau's face.  The referee warns Pinault and breaks the clinch.  
Pinault lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Moreau now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Pinault steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook to Moreau's body.  
Pinault pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Pinault steps inside and connects with a solid right hook.  
Pinault lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Pinault lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Pinault manouvers Moreau onto the ropes.  Pinault quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Pinault lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Pinault lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Pinault clinches his opponent.  Pinault leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pinault is on target with a right uppercut to Moreau's body.  
Pinault sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Moreau's liver.  
Pinault is looking to close the distance and drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Pinault drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Moreau tries to land a left hook, but Pinault slips the shot and counters with a DESTRUCTIVE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MOREAU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Moreau now seems to have his senses back.  
Moreau connects with a left uppercut.  
Pinault lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Moreau's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Moreau's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Pinault drives a sharp left hook into Moreau's ribs.  
Moreau is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pinault feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Pinault lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Moreau steps away from his opponent.  Pinault lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Moreau almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pinault lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Pinault lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Moreau hits home with a left hook.  Moreau tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Pinault advances into close range and SLAMS a DEVASTATING left hook into his opponents face.  MOREAU IS HURT!  Moreau almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pinault lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pinault steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Pinault throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Pinault's ribcage.  
Pinault is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  Pinault ties up his opponent.  Pinault leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Pinault's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pinault is looking to close the distance and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Moreau pivots to the left of his opponent.  Pinault lands a firm cross.  
Pinault is looking to close the distance.  Moreau throws a right hook, but Pinault clinches his opponent.  Pinault leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pinault gets on the inside.  Pinault sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND KNOCKS MOREAU DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Moreau is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Pinault!
