Justin Liston vs Joel Meek

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at DoubleTree Hotel Ontario, Ontario,  taking place on 11/04/2028:

Clearly Bones Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Liston (13(11) - 0) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Joel Meek(2 - 1 - 2) from Nashville, USA.  Liston weighed in at 140 pounds, while Meek weighed in at 139 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sean Bowens, and the three ringside judges are Clint Grullon, Dai Kerwood and Justin Lever.  

Round 1: 

Liston lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Meek closes the distance and manages to force Liston onto the ropes.  Liston drives a left hook into Meek's body.  
Liston lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Liston gets on the inside and digs in a firm left uppercut to Meek's body.

Meek advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Liston holds on to his opponent.  Meek pushes his forearm into Liston's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Liston manouvers Meek into a corner.  Liston hits home with a left hook.
