Phu Vien vs Ashley Burns

Boxing Daily Report from the Kongo Promotions promoted show at Kongo Gym, Hanoi,  taking place on 21/03/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Phu Vien (3 - 0) who hails from Can Tho, Vietnam and Ashley Burns(9 - 7(1) - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Vien and Burns weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pho Bao, and the three ringside judges are Hy Quang, Nguy Trang and Tu Hien.  

Round 1: 

Vien feints a jab, and then is on target with a solid cross.  
Burns advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but Vien ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Vien pushes his forearm into Burns's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Vien about fouling.  
Vien digs in a left hook to Burns's ribs.  
Vien steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Vien lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Vien lands an overhand right to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Vien hits home with a cross.  Vien attempts to land a jab, but Burns parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Burns gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Vien lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Vien steps away from his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Vien strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Vien is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Vien sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a solid cross.  
Burns attempts to land a jab, but Vien dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Vien switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Burns forces Vien to back into the ropes.  Burns hits home with a cross.  
Burns steps inside.  Vien pivots from in front of his opponent.  Vien is on target with a left hook to Burns's body.  Vien ties up his opponent.  Vien throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Burns's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Burns's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Burns's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Burns steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Vien on the ropes.  Burns lands a left hook.  
Burns sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Vien lands with a sharp jab.  
Vien tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Vien is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Vien feints a jab, and then connects with an overhand right.  
Burns throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Vien time to recover.  
Burns gets on the inside.  Vien connects with a left hook.
