Sergei Iskacoff vs Kamran Mahmoud

Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at Kingston Woodhouse, Kingston,  taking place on 12/04/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sergei Iskacoff (13(7) - 0 - 1) who hails from Karagandy, Kazakhstan and Kamran Mahmoud(14 - 11(3)) from Mumbai, India.  Both Iskacoff and Mahmoud weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid Eddie, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Dennie, Matthew Christopher and Mark Spotswood.  

Round 1: 

Iskacoff lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mahmoud is on target with a jab.  
Iskacoff is looking to close the distance.  Iskacoff pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Iskacoff is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Iskacoff lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Iskacoff steps inside.  Iskacoff pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mahmoud pivots to the left of his opponent.  Iskacoff lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Iskacoff lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Iskacoff ties up his opponent.  Iskacoff leans on his opponent using all his weight. Iskacoff pushes his forearm into Mahmoud's face.  The ref breaks Iskacoff's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Iskacoff closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Iskacoff pivots to the left of his opponent.  Iskacoff drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.  Iskacoff clinches his opponent.  Iskacoff pushes his forearm into Mahmoud's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Iskacoff.  
Iskacoff walks Mahmoud into the corner.  Iskacoff pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mahmoud throws a left hook, but Iskacoff holds on to his opponent.  Iskacoff leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Iskacoff pivots to the side of his opponent.  Iskacoff is on target with a sharp left hook.  Iskacoff holds on to his opponent.  Iskacoff tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mahmoud behind the head. 
Iskacoff gets on the inside.  Mahmoud tries to land a left hook, but Iskacoff sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Iskacoff sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Iskacoff connects with a left hook.  Iskacoff ties up his opponent.  Iskacoff is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Iskacoff lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Iskacoff gets on the inside.  Iskacoff quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mahmoud throws a left hook, but Iskacoff holds on to his opponent.  Iskacoff leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Iskacoff pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Mahmoud wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Iskacoff dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Iskacoff pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a sharp left uppercut into Mahmoud's liver.  
Iskacoff is looking to close the distance.  Iskacoff quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Iskacoff is looking to close the distance.  Iskacoff sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Iskacoff snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Iskacoff advances into close range.  Iskacoff voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mahmoud tries to tag Iskacoff on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Iskacoff finds the target with a jab.  
Iskacoff advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mahmoud's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Mahmoud's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Iskacoff gets on the inside and is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Mahmoud sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mahmoud throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Iskacoff lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Iskacoff lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mahmoud is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Iskacoff slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Iskacoff gets on the inside.  Mahmoud sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Iskacoff throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Iskacoff ties up his opponent.  Iskacoff is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Mahmoud steps away from his opponent.  Some sustained pressure from Iskacoff could be enough to finish Mahmoud!  Iskacoff lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MAHMOUD TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Mahmoud is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Iskacoff!
