Bilal Alshaykh vs Amjad Greiss

Boxing Daily Report from the Yarjanyan Promotions promoted show at Alexandria Eldahab, Alexandria,  taking place on 18/03/2028:

Clearly Yarjanyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Alexandria Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bilal Alshaykh (7 - 5 - 5) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Amjad Greiss(4 - 3 - 1) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Alshaykh weighed in at 112 pounds, while Greiss weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ahmed Zaghloul, and the three ringside judges are Saad Nadift, Shayan Kassem and Kashif Zaghloul.  

Round 1: 

Greiss manages to force Alshaykh into a neutral corner.  Greiss sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Alshaykh throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Alshaykh switches the action to the outside.  Greiss sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Alshaykh hits home with a cross.  
Greiss quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.

Alshaykh connects with an overhand left.

Greiss pivots to the left of his opponent.  Alshaykh wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Greiss dabs at his face checking for damage.
