Cong Lu vs Confucius Wai

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Chaoyang Park, Beijing,  taking place on 20/05/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the China-Beijing Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cong Lu (13(5) - 1) who hails from Beijing, China and Confucius Wai(9 - 10 - 5) from Beijing, China.  Both Lu and Wai weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Huang-fu Yue, and the three ringside judges are Xin Wan, Woo Kung and Qing-Nan Bu.

Lu hits the target with a stinging jab.

Lu feints a left hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Wai recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Lu lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Lu advances into close range and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Lu is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a sharp cross.

Wai manouvers Lu onto the ropes.  Wai pivots to the left of his opponent.  Wai tries to land a right hook, but Lu blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Lu steps to the outside and lands a stinging cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Wai's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Wai's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

He then lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS WAI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lu!
