John Blair vs Jake Leckie

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Inglewood Forum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 25/05/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  Also on the line is the USA Super Lightweight.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Lights Out Blair (28(23) - 0) who hails from Oakland, USA and Jake Leckie(21 - 1 - 1) from Louisville, USA.  Both Blair and Leckie weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Ronald, and the three ringside judges are John Benitez, John Torrance and Malcolm Waldie.  

Round 1: 

Blair quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Leckie hits home with a cross.  
Blair steps to the outside.  Leckie lands a cross.  Leckie throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Leckie closes the distance and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Blair steps to the outside and lands a cross, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES LECKIE!  He manages to get up at 4.  Leckie recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Blair tries to keep the action at long range and strikes his opponents body with a solid cross.  
Blair pivots to the left of his opponent.  Blair throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Leckie's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
