Diego Serra vs Selestino Vera

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Ginásio do Ibirapuera, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 20/05/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South American Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SporTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Serra (20(16) - 0) who hails from Guarulhos, Brazil and Selestino Vera(19(16) - 2(1)) from Huacho, Peru.  Both Serra and Vera weighed in at 135 pounds.

Vera gets on the inside.  The right shot from Vera could be enough to force the stoppage!  Vera lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS SERRA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Serra now seems to have got his legs back.

Vera closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Vera walks Serra onto the ropes.  Vera thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Serra away.  Vera lands a right uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND SERRA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Vera!
