Mayor Jungling vs Merrick Gerlitz

Boxing Daily Report from the Cherkoian Promotions promoted show at Cherkoian Gym, Hanover,  taking place on 19/04/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Lower Saxony Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mayor Jungling (16(7) - 4(1)) who hails from Hanover, Germany and Merrick Gerlitz(15(2) - 2) from Hanover, Germany.  Both Jungling and Gerlitz weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Markert, and the three ringside judges are Lodovico Johnsen, Rodolf Arlt and Burk Alberding.  

Round 1: 

Jungling advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Jungling attempts to land a right hook, but Gerlitz blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.

Jungling attempts to land a cross, but Gerlitz parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
