Amer Mahdi vs Khalid Shams

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Alborz promoted show at Karaj Salim, Karaj,  taking place on 22/04/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amer Mahdi (14 - 3 - 2) who hails from Karaj, Iran and Khalid Shams(14 - 9 - 3) from Mashhad, Iran.  Mahdi weighed in at 117 pounds And 9 ounces, while Shams weighed in at 117 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Nazar, and the three ringside judges are Mohsin Yousif, Mohsin Yousif and Chung Jang.
