Evgeny Oshkaja vs Borya Kalns

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Latvia-Riga promoted show at Igor Allikas Gym, Riga,  taking place on 23/04/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Latvia-Riga Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport Baltic, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Evgeny Oshkaja (8 - 4(1)) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Borya Kalns(8 - 5(1)) from Riga, Latvia.  Oshkaja weighed in at 126 pounds, while Kalns weighed in at 125 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Afon Shaurinsh, and the three ringside judges are Sergei Cesnieks, Andrii Vanags and Anton Zutis.
