Ian Shanklin vs Colin Brickell

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Dai Kahiwai Gym, Hamilton,  taking place on 27/03/2028:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Waikato have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Shanklin (6 - 13 - 1) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Colin Brickell(5 - 20) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Both Shanklin and Brickell weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aika Rako, and the three ringside judges are Joe Catanach, Josh Methven and David Darnley.
