Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Ponce promoted show at Ponce Tapia, Ponce,  taking place on 25/04/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Ponce Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alfonso Mercedes (16(1) - 8(1) - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Carlos Placido(15 - 7 - 1) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Both Mercedes and Placido weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Martinez, and the three ringside judges are Lorenzo Capo, Beltran Correira and Lorenzo Capo.
