Montana Malara vs Andy Malang

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Cebu promoted show at Ian Balubal Gym, Cebu City,  taking place on 28/04/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cebu Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montana Malara (12 - 7 - 3) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Andy Malang(7 - 1 - 1) from Mandaue, Philippines.  Malara weighed in at 130 pounds, while Malang weighed in at 129 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ricardo Olvera, and the three ringside judges are Bronco Aplaon, Eduardo Macalam and Mike Olalia.  

Round 1: 

Malang closes the distance.  Malang pivots to the right of his opponent.  Malang throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Malang ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Malara pushes his forearm into Malang's face.  The referee warns Malara and breaks the clinch.
