John Ngassi vs Josh Manamela

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal promoted show at Umlazi Malherbe, Umlazi,  taking place on 01/05/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Ngassi (10(3) - 2) who hails from Durban, South Africa and Josh Manamela(14 - 2) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Both Ngassi and Manamela weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Verlyn Selasee, and the three ringside judges are Cody Fuani, Ebi Muthambi and Ollie Rensburg.
