Kwau Bukenya vs Spencer Makumbi

Boxing Daily Report from the Hacopyan Promotions promoted show at Kampala Vasani, Kampala,  taking place on 02/05/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kwau Bukenya (10 - 8 - 3) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Spencer Makumbi(14 - 6 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Bukenya weighed in at 126 pounds, while Makumbi weighed in at 125 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dave Toro, and the three ringside judges are Rob Kaana, Rehman Madani and Naeem Kabuye.  

Round 1: 

Makumbi closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Makumbi is looking to close the distance and lands two left uppercut's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Bukenya is on target with a cross.
