James Baird vs Gareth Greenaway

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Spencer McElligott Gym, Brighton and Hove,  taking place on 06/05/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Baird (7(3) - 0) who hails from Preston, UK and Gareth Greenaway(4 - 5 - 2) from London, UK.  Both Baird and Greenaway weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zach Underwood, and the three ringside judges are John Gaddis, Aaron Winn and Henry Finnegan.  

Round 1: 

Baird is on target with a stinging cross.  
Baird lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Baird closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Greenaway hits home with a cross.  
Baird lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Baird connects with a firm right hook.  
Greenaway steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Baird sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Greenaway sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Baird tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the body, an overhand right to the head and an overhand left to the head.  
Baird closes the distance and connects with a stinging right uppercut.  Baird holds on to his opponent.  Baird throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. As they grapple, Baird pushes his forearm into Greenaway's face.  The ref breaks Baird's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Baird is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Baird lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Baird switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Baird lands a jab.  
Baird advances into close range.  Greenaway throws a left hook, but Baird clinches his opponent.  Baird is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Baird pushes his forearm into Greenaway's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
