Amon Halloran vs Peabo Daudpota

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Citizens Business Bank Arena, Ontario,  taking place on 15/06/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amon Halloran (18(10) - 1 - 1) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Peabo Daudpota(14 - 2) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Halloran and Daudpota weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hayden Abraham, and the three ringside judges are William Shawn, Rob Prichard and Dave Carrasco.  

Round 1: 

Halloran lands with a stinging jab.  Halloran attempts to land a jab, but Daudpota sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Halloran tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a firm overhand right.  
Daudpota closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Halloran switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Halloran lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Daudpota quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Halloran lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Daudpota gets on the inside and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Halloran is on target with a solid cross.  
Daudpota is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Halloran sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Daudpota tries to land a jab, but Halloran sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Halloran lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Halloran attempts to land a jab, but Daudpota sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Halloran lands a firm cross.  
Halloran sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Halloran lands a cross.  
Daudpota advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Daudpota walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Daudpota is on target with a left uppercut.  Daudpota tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Halloran tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Halloran steps to the outside and DETONATES a MASSIVE cross on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE DAUDPOTA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Daudpota advances into close range.  The right shot from Halloran could be enough to force the stoppage!  Halloran lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two straights followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS DAUDPOTA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Daudpota has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Halloran is looking to keep his distance.  Daudpota throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Daudpota gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Daudpota tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Daudpota pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Daudpota gets on the inside.  Halloran lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Halloran's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Daudpota's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Daudpota gets on the inside and manouvers Halloran onto the ropes.  Daudpota attempts to land a left hook, but Halloran sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Halloran is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Daudpota tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Daudpota gets on the inside.  Halloran lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Halloran lands with a hard jab.  
Halloran throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Halloran sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Daudpota walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Daudpota attempts to land a right hook, but Halloran sidesteps and counters with a HUGE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE DAUDPOTA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Halloran senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Daudpota and just needs the right shot.  Halloran lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES DAUDPOTA!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Halloran lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS DAUDPOTA!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Halloran tries to step out of his opponents range.  Halloran lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS DAUDPOTA TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Halloran!
