Kei Shirai vs Takeo Teruya

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Yokohama Arena, Yokohama,  taking place on 27/05/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kei Shirai (16(8) - 1(1)) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Takeo Teruya(10 - 0) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Shirai and Teruya weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kenji Shirai, and the three ringside judges are Daiki Sasaki, Nori Okuma and Daiki Sasaki.  

Round 1: 

Shirai hits home with a cross.

Shirai throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Shirai ties up his opponent.  Teruya pushes his forearm into Shirai's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Teruya.  
Shirai lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  Shirai attempts to land a jab, but Teruya blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Teruya is looking to close the distance.  Shirai lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Teruya advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Shirai steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
