Atif Salim vs Leighton Atkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at American Airlines Arena, Miami,  taking place on 10/06/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Atif Salim (24(9) - 1) who hails from Moreno Valley, USA and Leighton Atkins(16 - 5(2)) from Memphis, USA.  Both Salim and Atkins weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Owens, and the three ringside judges are Robert Armstrong, Chris Villalta and Vince Wood.
