Yo Ngo vs Liang Yam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Jiangsu promoted show at Wuxi Lu, Wuxi,  taking place on 16/05/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the China-Jiangsu Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on His TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yo Ngo (5(2) - 0) who hails from Nanjing, China and Liang Yam(14 - 11 - 3) from Suzhou, China.  Both Ngo and Yam weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wang Chiew, and the three ringside judges are Deshi Yep, Gao Zhong and Liko Shih.  

Round 1: 

Ngo lands with a spiteful jab.

Yam manouvers Ngo onto the ropes.  Yam is on target with a jab.  
Yam is looking to close the distance.  Ngo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ngo tries to keep the action at long range and drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Ngo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Yam advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Ngo holds on to his opponent.  Ngo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ngo lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ngo dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ngo.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Yam closes the distance.  Ngo pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.
