Rudi Laas vs Berndt Geisert

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Brose Arena, Nuremberg,  taking place on 10/06/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rudi Laas (16(10) - 0) who hails from Chemnitz, Germany and Berndt Geisert(15 - 6 - 6) from Berlin, Germany.  Both Laas and Geisert weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodman Markt, and the three ringside judges are Bertram Stockner, Wilber Sapper and Alger Jenne.  

Round 1: 

Laas steps inside and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Laas holds on to his opponent.  Laas pushes his forearm into Geisert's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Laas to stop fouling.

Geisert's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Geisert's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Laas knows Geisert is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Laas lands a spiteful cross.  GEISERT IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Geisert now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
