Peer Mannel vs Arend Plattner

Boxing Daily Report from the Situmbeko Promotions promoted show at Eberhart Binz Gym, Hamburg,  taking place on 17/05/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Germany-Hamburg Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peer Mannel (6(4) - 1(1)) who hails from Hamburg, Germany and Arend Plattner(6 - 7 - 1) from Hamburg, Germany.  Mannel weighed in at 154 pounds, while Plattner weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Decker Decamp, and the three ringside judges are Myrl Schedler, Louis Heit and Mathias Kuebler.  

Round 1: 

Mannel hits home with a solid cross.

Mannel pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mannel lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Mannel ties up his opponent.  Mannel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Mannel's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Plattner manouvers Mannel onto the ropes.  Plattner lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Plattner gets on the inside.  Mannel digs in a stinging left hook to Plattner's ribs.  
Mannel pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mannel lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Mannel throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mannel is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Mannel holds on to his opponent.  Mannel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Plattner's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Plattner's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Mannel drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Plattner lands a right hook.  
Mannel hits home with a cross.  
Mannel closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Mannel knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Mannel lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Mannel SLAMS a SAVAGE cross into his opponents face.  PLATTNER IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Mannel!
