Zach Poku vs Mark Assiful

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 17/05/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zach Poku (18(3) - 4) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Mark Assiful(11 - 11(1) - 3) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Poku weighed in at 147 pounds, while Assiful weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noah Asante, and the three ringside judges are Andy Salawu, Connor Salifu and Brad Kyei.  

Round 1: 

Poku steps inside.  Poku sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Poku senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Assiful and just needs the right shot.  Poku lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS ASSIFUL!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Assiful cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Poku!
