Alessio Meduri vs Rico Abate

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sardinia promoted show at Silvestro Cerci Gym, Cagliari,  taking place on 21/04/2028:

Clearly AI Italy-Sardinia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sardinia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alessio Meduri (12 - 5) who hails from Cagliari, Italy and Rico Abate(4 - 15 - 2) from Sassari, Italy.  Both Meduri and Abate weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cristiano Granata, and the three ringside judges are Leonardo Bortone, Luigi Ghilardotti and Alessandro Lupi.
