Ollie Maddox vs Danyaal Lone

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Staples Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 29/06/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ollie Ox Maddox (27(14) - 0) who hails from San Bernardino, USA and Danyaal Lone(15 - 6(1)) from Tabriz, Iran.  Both Maddox and Lone weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Madoc, and the three ringside judges are Tobias Brash, Sam Dunkin and Alec Deans.  

Round 1: 

Maddox is looking to close the distance.  Maddox pivots from in front of his opponent.  Maddox lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Maddox holds on to his opponent.  Maddox is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Maddox and breaks the clinch.

Maddox manouvers Lone onto the ropes.  Maddox pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Maddox lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Maddox tries to land a left uppercut, but Lone blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Maddox quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Maddox pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Maddox is on target with a sharp cross.  
Lone steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Maddox steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Maddox is on target with a jab.  
Maddox sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lone throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Maddox steps inside.  Maddox sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook.

Maddox closes the distance.  Lone hits home with a left hook.  Maddox ties up his opponent.  Lone uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Maddox's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lone to stop fouling.

He continues the combination and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS LONE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Maddox!
