Mohsin Abaza vs Dave Connolly

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 27/05/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mohsin Abaza (8(7) - 0) who hails from Amman, Jordan and Dave Connolly(17 - 5(1)) from New York City, USA.  Both Abaza and Connolly weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Prior, Granger Hinault and Jean-Baptiste Camus.  

Round 1:

Abaza pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a big cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE CONNOLLY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Connolly recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Connolly forces Abaza to retreat onto the ropes.  Abaza DETONATES a FIERCE cross on his opponents face.  CONNOLLY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.

Abaza gets on the inside and DETONATES a mean left hook on his opponents face.  CONNOLLY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Abaza is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Abaza lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND CONNOLLY IS DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Abaza!
