Gregor Mumo vs Chiamaka Odanga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Odongo, Nairobi,  taking place on 21/05/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gregor Mumo (14 - 9 - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Chiamaka Odanga(10 - 12 - 5) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Mumo weighed in at 117 pounds and 9 ounces, while Odanga weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Rebelo, and the three ringside judges are Bob Mbiyu, Sam Konchellah and Elliot Lumumba.  

Round 1: 

Odanga steps away from his opponent.  Odanga drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Mumo strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Mumo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Odanga throws a left uppercut, but Mumo clinches his opponent.  Mumo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Odanga behind the head. Mumo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mumo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Odanga finds the target with a jab.  
Mumo gets on the inside.  Odanga steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Mumo steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Odanga switches the action to the outside.  Mumo throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mumo gets on the inside.  Mumo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Mumo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Odanga is on target with a cross.  
Mumo hits home with a left hook.  
Mumo steps inside.  Odanga hits home with a right hook.

Mumo advances into close range.  Odanga lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Mumo ties up his opponent.  Mumo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mumo tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mumo steps inside.  Odanga connects with a left hook.
