Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Maiduguri Akpososo, Maiduguri,  taking place on 27/05/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus Azutambata (15 - 6 - 2) who hails from Bama, Nigeria and Joe Bird(12(2) - 8) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Azutambata weighed in at 147 pounds, while Bird weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Ekoku, and the three ringside judges are Olufemi Doda, Cody Aderemi and Gethin Rotimi.
