John Akubeze vs Chima Ekpe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kwara State promoted show at Ifeanyi Isola Gym, Offa,  taking place on 27/05/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kwara State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Akubeze (12 - 9) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Chima Ekpe(11 - 6 - 4) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  Akubeze weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ekpe weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Izunna Ottiji, and the three ringside judges are Shehu Ikisikpo, Tunde Balogun and Kamran Kalil.
