Kashif Moghaddam vs Karl McGee

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Honda Center, Anaheim,  taking place on 15/07/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kashif Moghaddam (26(18) - 1(1)) who hails from Jodhpur, India and Karl McGee(21(13) - 6(5)) from Drogheda, Ireland.  Both Moghaddam and McGee weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Pryor, and the three ringside judges are Joey Catherwood, Justin Crumlish and Peter Bara.  

Round 1: 

McGee steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Moghaddam is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
McGee lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Moghaddam lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Moghaddam attempts to land an overhand right, but McGee sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
McGee closes the distance and walks Moghaddam down, trapping him on the ropes.  McGee drives a right hook into Moghaddam's body.  
Moghaddam drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
McGee hits home with a cross.  
McGee steps inside.  Moghaddam pivots to the left of his opponent.  Moghaddam attempts to land a left hook, but McGee blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Moghaddam tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Moghaddam steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Moghaddam lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
McGee advances into close range.  Moghaddam sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Moghaddam steps to the outside.  McGee throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Moghaddam tries to step out of his opponents range.  McGee feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McGee gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to Moghaddam's body.  
Moghaddam tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Moghaddam tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Moghaddam thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put McGee away.  Moghaddam lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
McGee is looking to close the distance.  Moghaddam is on target with a FEARSOME left uppercut.  MCGEE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  McGee now seems to have got his legs back.  
McGee walks Moghaddam down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Moghaddam attempts to land a right hook, but McGee sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Moghaddam is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Moghaddam lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Moghaddam's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McGee's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Moghaddam tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
McGee closes the distance.  Moghaddam attempts to land a left hook, but McGee sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McGee is looking to close the distance and manages to force Moghaddam onto the ropes.  Moghaddam is on target with a left hook to McGee's ribs.  
McGee lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Moghaddam is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
McGee steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  McGee throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful left hook.  MCGEE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Moghaddam!
