Desiderio Manotoc vs Bart Magdato

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Rizal promoted show at Rodriguez Lucagbo, Rodriguez,  taking place on 02/05/2028:

Clearly AI Philippines-Rizal have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Rizal Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Desiderio Manotoc (12(1) - 9(4)) who hails from Antipolo, Philippines and Bart Magdato(11 - 9 - 2) from Taytay, Philippines.  Both Manotoc and Magdato weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Morin, and the three ringside judges are Rogelio Banda, Juan Jayan and Franco Gurule.  

Round 1: 

Manotoc lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Magdato dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Manotoc closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Manotoc gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Manotoc clinches his opponent.  Magdato pushes his forearm into Manotoc's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Manotoc hits home with a right hook.  Manotoc clinches his opponent.  Manotoc pushes his forearm into Magdato's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Manotoc about fouling.  
Manotoc drives a left hook into Magdato's body.  
Manotoc forces Magdato to retreat onto the ropes.  Manotoc lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Manotoc ties up his opponent.  Manotoc pushes his forearm into Magdato's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Manotoc.

Magdato attempts to land a jab, but Manotoc blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Magdato's body.  
Manotoc closes the distance.  Manotoc sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Magdato's body.  
Manotoc lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Manotoc clinches his opponent.  Manotoc is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Manotoc about fouling.  
Manotoc sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Manotoc digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Magdato quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Manotoc lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Manotoc ties up his opponent.  Magdato is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Magdato.  
Manotoc lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Manotoc is looking to close the distance and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Manotoc sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Magdato's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Magdato's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Magdato's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Round 2: 

Manotoc gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Manotoc closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Manotoc thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Magdato away.  Manotoc lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND MAGDATO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Magdato now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Manotoc gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Magdato's body.  
Manotoc is on target with a sharp right hook to Magdato's body.  
Manotoc is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Manotoc sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Magdato's ribcage.  
Manotoc hits home with a right hook.  
Magdato pivots to the right of his opponent.  Magdato throws a left uppercut, but Manotoc holds on to his opponent.  Manotoc leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Manotoc uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Magdato behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Manotoc is on target with a left hook.  
Manotoc lands a cross.  
Manotoc gets on the inside.  Magdato quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Manotoc lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Manotoc ties up his opponent.  Manotoc tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Magdato behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Manotoc to stop fouling.  
Manotoc lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Manotoc lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS MAGDATO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
The right shot from Manotoc could be enough to force the stoppage!  Manotoc lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND MAGDATO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Manotoc!
