Yoshi Hoshino vs Hajime Okabe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Jiro Seki Gym, Yokohama,  taking place on 31/05/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yoshi Hoshino (12 - 11 - 2) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Hajime Okabe(8 - 5(2) - 3) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Hoshino and Okabe weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Nishimura, and the three ringside judges are Daiki Takayama, Takeo Uchida and Hiro Murano.  

Round 1: 

Hoshino steps to the outside.  Hoshino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Okabe throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Okabe walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Hoshino throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hoshino sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.
