Kieran Swapp vs John Kemble

Boxing Daily Report from the Rico Boxing Promotions promoted show at Columbus Monce, Columbus,  taking place on 24/05/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kieran Swapp (0 - 0) who hails from Yuma, USA and John Kemble(0 - 4) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Swapp and Kemble weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Strassman, and the three ringside judges are Darryl Boyle, Daniel Bigner and Ollie Jerden.  

Round 1: 

Kemble steps inside.  Kemble quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Swapp lands a left hook.  
Swapp is looking to keep his distance.  Kemble attempts to land a cross, but Swapp dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kemble steps inside.  Swapp pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Swapp steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Swapp is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand right.

Kemble forces Swapp to back into the corner.  Kemble sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Kemble tries to land an overhand right, but Swapp dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kemble advances into close range.  Swapp pivots to the right of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Swapp dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Swapp is on target with a left hook.  
Kemble quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kemble attempts to land a jab, but Swapp sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Swapp attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Kemble's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
