Bright Adesanya vs Yakubu Alegbe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Anambra State promoted show at Edward Okonkwo Gym, Awka,  taking place on 05/06/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Anambra State Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bright Adesanya (6 - 10 - 2) who hails from Onitsha, Nigeria and Yakubu Alegbe(6 - 0) from Awka, Nigeria.  Both Adesanya and Alegbe weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ike Obasanjo, and the three ringside judges are Charles Ipia, Segun Envoh and Ogenyi Odibe.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alegbe dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Alegbe.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
