Gareth Briar vs Ethan Geddes

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Illinois Holocaust Museum, Chicago,  taking place on 05/07/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Briar (8 - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Ethan Geddes(2 - 4 - 2) from Garden Grove, USA.  Both Briar and Geddes weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wayne Gregor, and the three ringside judges are Ethan Bukowski, Inigo Gillies and Will Girvin.  

Round 1: 

Briar pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Briar lands with a spiteful jab.  
Briar pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Briar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Briar sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Geddes tries to land a left uppercut, but Briar slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Briar steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Geddes blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Briar steps away from his opponent and is on target with a stinging overhand right.  
Briar connects with a right hook.  
Briar is on target with a left hook to Geddes's liver.
