Waqar Firman vs Karl Laidlaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 01/07/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight are the WRBA Super Middleweight, IRBF Super Middleweight and WRBC Super Middleweight titles.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqar Firman (30(28) - 2(1)) who hails from Ugep, Nigeria and Karl Laidlaw(22(18) - 5(4)) from Galway, Ireland.  Both Firman and Laidlaw weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Reekie, and the three ringside judges are Rob Gollon, Mark Elgin and Johnny Deasmhumhain.
