Odilon Mendy vs Valentin Nys

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Stade de DUC Dakar, Dakar,  taking place on 18/06/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal-Dakar Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Odilon Mendy (28 - 1) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Valentin Nys(14 - 5(1)) from Dakar, Senegal.  Mendy weighed in at 160 pounds, while Nys weighed in at 158 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Orleans Dabo, and the three ringside judges are Royal Lievremont, Boyce Perec and Holland Mandiang.  

Round 1: 

Nys lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
