Sid Fitzsimmons vs Matt Ballan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New Jersey promoted show at Bart Menia Gym, Paterson,  taking place on 16/06/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid Fitzsimmons (13 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Newark, USA and Matt Ballan(4 - 0) from Newark, USA.  Fitzsimmons weighed in at 139 pounds and 11 ounces, while Ballan weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theo Halley, and the three ringside judges are Rob Bonaccini, Cody Normand and Valentino Brunelli.

Ballan lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND SENDS FITZSIMMONS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  The ref asks Fitzsimmons to get his gloves up, but he doesnt respond.  The ref has waved the fight off...he doesnt think Fitzsimmons can continue!  The winner by TKO is Ballan!
