Dominique Nolle vs Ross Marques

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ivory Coast-Lagunes promoted show at Vail Diderot Gym, Abobo,  taking place on 22/05/2028:

Clearly AI Ivory Coast-Lagunes have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast-Lagunes Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dominique Nolle (6 - 11 - 2) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Ross Marques(3(1) - 0) from Abobo, Ivory Coast.  Both Nolle and Marques weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gerard Normandeau, and the three ringside judges are Sid Zola, Prewitt Oriol and Chainey De Leon.  

Round 1: 

Marques closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Marques lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Nolle almost instantly recovers. 
Marques lands a cross.  
Marques closes the distance and drives a left hook into Nolle's body.  Marques ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Marques pushes his forearm into Nolle's face.  The ref breaks Marques's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Marques connects with a sharp cross.  
Nolle throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Marques gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Marques holds on to his opponent.  Marques pushes his forearm into Nolle's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Marques to stop fouling.  
Marques connects with a solid left hook.  
Marques is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Marques ties up his opponent.  Marques leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Marques drives a sharp right hook into Nolle's body.  
Marques quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Marques steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Marques holds on to his opponent.  Marques leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Marques sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Marques is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Marques clinches his opponent.  Marques is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Marques lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Marques lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Nolle forces Marques to retreat into the red corner.  Marques digs in a right uppercut to Nolle's body.  
Marques lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Marques walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Marques senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Marques lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND DROPS NOLLE!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Marques slams a nasty left hook into his opponents liver.  NOLLE IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Marques knows Nolle is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Marques lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND NOLLE IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Nolle now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Marques lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND NOLLE IS DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Marques!
