Kong Jen vs Adnan Hasan

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbun Promotions promoted show at Mashhad Khar, Mashhad,  taking place on 20/06/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran-Razavi Khorasan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kong Jen (14 - 1) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Adnan Hasan(15(2) - 0) from Mashhad, Iran.  Both Jen and Hasan weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bilal Zaki, and the three ringside judges are Huang-fu Pang, Umair Shams and Ibrahim Jamal.  

Round 1: 

Hasan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hasan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jen connects with a left hook.  
Jen is looking to keep his distance.  Hasan throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Jen tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Jen has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
