Chris Stalford vs Rich Duffus

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane,  taking place on 05/08/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Stalford (7(1) - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Rich Duffus(16 - 2 - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Stalford and Duffus weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Martin, and the three ringside judges are Corey Pait, Seth Urbano and Ian Corrie.  

Round 1: 

Stalford quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.
